Our research is funded by the NSF, USDA and DOE, on: (1) development of methods to predict phenotypes based on genomic data and (2) their application to hyper-accelerate genetic improvement, (3) training of plant breeders is modern genomic technologies, (4) identification of genes that regulate development, adaptation of plants to climate change and plant productivity and (5) characterization of newly discovered genes of economic value.
